I9300BUALF1 Vodafone Samsung Galaxy S III OTA Update ICS 4.0.4 Firmware Release

Vodafone Samsung Galaxy S III users in Europe regions receives the official firmware update with build number I9300BUALF1. This update adds up a “better stability and improvements” according from Samsung.The first update was initially released in the UK for the unbranded Galaxy S3 with build number I9300XXALF2 and followed with Vodafone in the same day.  We also spotted the same firmware build I9300BUALF1 from Samsung’s firmware server that are also now probably release or available in other Europe region like Austria A1, France SFR, Germany, Slovenia Si.Mobil and other countries might follow soon.

I9300BUALF1 ICS 4.0.4 Firmware Update will Improved Stability

Some users who already get the said update reportedly claimed that it fixes memory issues with TouchWiz having to reload after exiting multiple programs, as well as the cell standby high issues also improved a little bit (but barely unnoticeable). Fixes the screen brightness control which you can hardly visibly see the screen during in a high daylight exposure.

This update is now on Samsung Firmware server and probably will be rolled out via OTA (Over the Air). So, if you were in Europe region you might check out your phone Settings -> Information about the device -> Software Updates -> Update. You will then receives a pop message saying the the new firmware update is now available. If you can see any update notification just be patient, firmware updates are released in a ‘staggered’ fashion. Rest assured, you’ll get yours too soon.
