Here’s comes another Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean Update for Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 (International version). The firmware build number I9300XXDLIH, this is the second official Jellybean update for S3 from the first release in Poland I9300XXDLIB and now recently rolls out in Sweden. The I9300XXDLIH has the same aspects and features for those who already installed or upgraded using the Poland I9300XXDLIB, which reportedly some lags issues which not much better on the silky smoothness of the Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS).Sweden Samsung Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean Update I9300XXDLIH_I9300VDSDLI1_I9300XXDLID

And to those who also expect some features like the multi-view functionality like the Jelly bean build on Samsung Galaxy Note2 10.1 seams to no avail on Galaxy S3 JB build. There has been a few changes you’ll notice I9300XXDLIH Jelly Bean, since the looks and some navigational buttons is being redesigned in settings like the status bar which is changed in “gray color” some users don’t like how the way it looks. Battery life improvements on Jelly bean is too early to tell but this one goes official and seems users will just stick to it. Just assume that this will also release soon officially in each specific countries exactly the same build but only varies with country and network provided CSC files.

FAQ about flashing Jelly bean stock ROM

Here’s a few frequently ask questions that might make it all crystal clear.

Q: Can I install this jelly bean firmware on my phone?
A: Yes! as long you already knows what this is all about and other circumstances it may bring. You used a GT-I9300 Galaxy S3 (international) only works best on  European regions, since this is a European firmware build.

Q: Will this work properly on my phone, since I heard many people reporting some issues.?
A: It is your personal choice, no one is forcing you to do so.

Q: My phone is rooted, will I lost root?
A: Yes, root will be wiped out after installing and you need to root again.

Q: Is my phone will still receives any official update from Samsung when the Jelly Bean for my country/provider arrives?
A: No! this is another region firmware, kies will check your device firmware version build before it gives an update. But you can still revert it back to previous firmware and can update on Kies again or you can also upgrade the same method above to upgrade your device manually.
Note: we don’t hate kies.

Q: So how to revert back again to my previous ICS firmware if I see some issues which was not happened before?
A: Download the current firmware build of your phone. Then you can use it to return back your device once you won’t fall in-love with Jelly bean update. You can check it out via your phone>settings>about> firmware version  or type *#1234# and then Google it, just indicate the PDA and CSC build numbers.

I9300XXBLFB

examples of ICS CSC codes:
I9300NEEBLH2
I9300OXABLG8
I9300EURBLH1

Q: Is this safe, I heard someone ended up bricking his/her phone?
A: there is a risk danger doing this if you just take this slightly, just take extra precautions before you proceed.
If you do not truly understand what this is all about, then refrain from doing so.
Some reported bricks happens in U.S and Canadian variants when they installed a wrong kernel, and images from Galaxy S3 I9300 like this one, for they do not yet before that U.S and Canada are far different from galaxy S3 international. But there has been already a fix for that matter.

Q: Will this void the warranty of my precious phone?
A: No, this is an original firmware created and released by Samsung. This will not even trip the flash binary counter on your device, it’s a system security installed by Samsung on our devices to monitor if we modified our phone like rooting and installing unofficial firmware.

  1. hello there,

I would like to ask if the jelly bean software for my own region were to be released and at the point I have already applied the jelly bean update for a different region, can I just flash it directly to my phone via ODIN since it’s the same Android Version?

  2. if i updated from the leaked Poland version ( i am not in Poland), and now my version is available for download (Unlocked international version) should i revert to ICS and update OTA. Does it pay for me to do that or is it just the exact same thing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

    1. there are two options you can choose, you can flash directly the Jelly bean stock ROM or install back the original ICS if you prepare to update using Kies or OTA.
If you would ask me which one should I choose? I would prepare directly installing the stock ROM since it takes shorter time that flashing back the ICS then update via OTA/Kies.

  3. Droid Angel, Thank you. How do I do that? And just to be certain it will be as if I just bought my phone directly from where I purchased it? No one will know I used (an official) different ROM?
    Thanks Droid Angel!!

    1. Just find your country specific firmware build ICS or JB. Then flash it.
And just to be certain it will be as if I just bought my phone directly from where I purchased it?
Yes! as long you just installed original stock rom.
Tech will know if you installed unofficial or official ROM.
Using official ROM will not void your warranty, unofficial ROM and rooting absolutely loss warranty.

    1. Please emphasize which camera front or back, then show us some photos. Only then we will spread this word to others and mark it as bugs.
I never tried this build for so long since I am now using the United Kingdom’s BTU-I9300XXDLJ4.

  4. Droid angel. Thats the thing. I bought it in USA from a wholesaler. I have no idea of my phone’s country of origin. It is an unlocked s3 international version gt-i9300

    1. In U.S the Galaxy S3 mostly sold as branded by Giant Mobile network operators AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, U.S Cellular. They usually built in other hardware platforms and not GT-I9300, these are the model numbers in U.S.A. SGH-I747 AT&T, SGH-T999 T-Mobile, SCH-I535 Verizon and SPH-L710 Sprint.
The GT-I9300 is international version sold in Europe, Middle East, Latin America, Africa and Asia.
Now, if you lived like for example in South Africa, then you should only download South African firmware builds or nearby countries..
Anyway, there are also some issues occurred if you installed European firmware build in your your Asian or Middle East Galaxy S3. So, if you are newbie to these whole flashing method, then install the right firmware to your device to stay out of any problems.

  5. Droid Angel. What firmware is this? I have JB Poland version on my device already. I wanted to go back to ICS and install the update OTA when it is ready because I want to make sure I continue receiving updates ready for my particular device and not be stuck with wrong firmware. What is this firmware? Sorry, i am a newbie.
    Thanks TONS!!

    1. Jewish Firmware? I am not sure what you meant by that. I did not buy my phone in Israel. I bought it in USA. It is unlocked GT-I9300. So you think this one is better than the link you previously sent me?
      Thanks,
      Mark

    2. You said that you want your device gets further OTA updates, which country you are at now isn’t it Israel? You can’t get any OTA from U.S if you’re in another side of the world, besides as I told you, U.S versions is not GT-I9300. If you don’t get it then I can’t help you, no more…

    3. Correct, I am in Israel currently have Poland JB on it. I want to make sure I receive future OTA updates. This one you just sent me is ICS with Hebrew on it? With this firmware on it, this is the only one that i will be able to get future OTA updates? thanks much!

    4. I am also a newbie, the country code for my phone is JKBL3 there is no “H”, i just want to confirm tjat wether it is ok or not
