Changes and Features Review

Can anyone confirm the same are applicable for Note 10.1 also
Customizable notification shade – No.
New notification toggles – No.
Option to disable multi-window – No.
Option to remove brightness slider from the notification bar – No.
New keyboard with gesture typing – Sort of. We have ballons available that pop-up when you press a key which is handy with the split keyboard.
New lock-screen effect. – No. We got bigger text and icons.
Easy mode on S Planner – I wouldn’t call it “easy” but it’s been revised and doesn’t look as cluttered as it used to.
New S Note widget – Yes.
Group Cast app – It’s been there since the first JB update.
Stability/usability improvements. – Yes.

There is a new button in the low right corner where you can split the screen to multiview. It also works with almost all of my modified apps! Very handy because that was one of the things i missed in 4.1.1.

The same will come only on moded apps and on the default apps it will be on the top right hand, what that means you are not required to launch the apps from multiview shortcut bar you can start the supported app normally and if you want to make it multiview just click on the icon.

Earlier that was not an option atleast for the moded apps
I just found out that every app that i modded has a button now to get it in multiview.Even if you dont launch it from the bottom bar. Some have the button in the right corner below but just saw that some even have a regular one like in the stock multiview apps in the right upper corner.I like it very much multiview is now even better than it was

Hi guys, I have try this again setting my brightness to min again. I confirm the screen brightness is fix. I have the issue previously but after upgraded to 4-1.2 it was Solve.
I did an clear cache and full reset on recovery after upgraded.

I would say if this are to try, do backup all files and especially on snote files. Snote file are prefer to transfer to card or / pc. Reason was I did encounter some of the sync issue on google and some of the snote files are not fully sync, some deleted and server duplicate it as well.
It works the same way it always has. The moment you open a new or existing S-Note the brightness gets turned way up. You’ve always been able to un-tick auto-brightness to make it lower and just opening the S Note app itself doesn’t affect the brightness. And this isn’t an “issue” per se; it’s working the way Samsung designed it to work. Everyone not liking it equally doesn’t mean it’s broken.

Thanks berry, than it is my mistake on it. i always thought that brightness Set to Auto or Manual, µ brightness will turn to max. Haha at least now on manual Set brightness mode i can access to my snote without hurting my eyes.

Battery life seems slightly better, I used to get around 8 hours plus and in this release I am heading for 10. (web, facebook, twitter etc)
Also an improvement in UI when you use the spen to scroll up and down and reach the top you get a bluish halo looks cool
