T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G Gets 4.0.4 ICS T769UVMB1 Security Enhancements Update

T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G SGH-T769 gets a minor OTA and Kies software update with new baseband version T769UVMB1. Tmo says that this update brings the “security enhancements” for the Galaxy S Blaze 4G which is built with Qualcomm Snapdragon. The software update is still packed in 4.0.4 ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) the same Android version from earlier released T769UVLH5. It sounds like that this is a pre-upgrade before Jelly Bean.

Stock Firmware T769UVMB1 ICS 4.0.4

Here’s the original stock UVMB1 for those advance users devices that are now rooted or installed with unofficial firmware, you can grab the stock ROM if you wish to restore back your devices to official stock firmware. You can’t get this update via Samsung Kies or OTA , it’s because your devices were already rooted or modified. You can grab the stock UVMB1 here, and then just manually flash it with Odin.

  1. DroidAngel thank for the stock I C S to flash; it got me back on the queue for the security update which I got over the air this morning. I believe that since I had rooted Gingerbread, I’d never get that back. T-Mobile servers didn’t recognize my phone; Kies wouldn’t do it. Now back on queue.

  2. Will the blaze see a 4.1.2 update? In the near future? Seems like a lot of phones similar are getting it. Hope to see it updated soon.
