Samsung has started to kick-off another 4.2.2 update on their tablet line-ups just right after the released of the 4.2.2 on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 3G (GT-P3100) and followed by the Galaxy Note 8.0 a couple of days ago. Today, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 WiFi (GT-P3110) version has also started receiving an update that comes with the software build Android 4.2.2 P3110XXDMH1 and this took place in the UK. Yep, UK owners of the said tablet are lucky again to taste first this said new 4.2.2 upgrade but other countries might also follow this coming few days.
This update of course brings the features of 4.2.2 which already found on other tablets releases, like the new re-designed lockscreen widgets, camera enhancements and battery life improvements. The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 will become more snappier, faster and smoother, due to the added system enhancements and better stability.
The firmware build is currently live via Samsung’s software server, and can be downloaded using the Kies tool or via over the air update (OTA) with WiFi connection and then by hitting your Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Settings–>About–> Check for Software update.
For advance owners and developers the stock firmware can be downloaded below.
