New Update firmware version A300FXXU1BQB2 for Galaxy A3 SM-A300F, of which freshly released as of March 2017. This update includes the February 1, 2017 Android security patch level, bug-fixes, and improvements to the device performance. It is officially rolled out by Samsung in select European countries. The A300FXXU1BQB2 is an update to the previous released version A300FXXU1BPI1, way back in October 2016. That is quite a bit too long enough before this new update arrived.
Anyways, if you are hoping that this is an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow upgrade for Galaxy A3 SM-A300F. Unfortunately, it’s not. This update version is still based in Android 5.0.1 Lollipop OS.

But for those who haven’t modified their phones, you folks can simply update either via Over-The-Air OTA or by using Samsung Smart Switch for PC. For checking an update, just head on to your device settings. From Home screen > tap Apps > About device > Check for updates. However, if you prepared using Smart Switch for PC, you may also simply head to Samsung’s support page to grab the said tools.
For those who have rooted or modified Galaxy A3 SM-A300F and may want to restore back and manually update, just grab the stock firmware.
