Canadian owners of the Samsung Galaxy S2 HD LTE SGH-I757M under Bell carrier, the long-awaited Jelly Bean update is finally here. Today, Samsung has started pushing the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with firmware build numbers I757MUGMC5 for Bell’s Samsung Galaxy S2 HD LTE version. I just thought that this device has been forgotten by Samsung and Bell for so long, since the original Bell’s Galaxy S2 I9100M already tastes the Jelly Bean tweaks last February.
There is no official changelog available for now regarding what new features this update could offer, Samsung and even Bell doesn’t have any official announcement so far. The Jelly Bean update brings several features including Google Now, nature UX Touchwiz, Improved Call Quality and Improved Keyboard. Just also hope that the Multi-View is included on this update, which can be found on other 4.1.2 Jelly Bean releases.
Here’s the firmware info;
Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean build I757MUGMC5
Device: Samsung Galaxy S2 HD LTE SGH-I757M
Carrier: Bell, Sasktel
Android version: 4.1.2

This will upgrade your Samsung Galaxy S2 HD LTE I757M from I757MUGLH2 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich to I757MUMC5 4.1.2 Jelly bean after the update. Those who doesn’t root their Galaxy S2 HD LTE, better check it out on Kies, since it’s already in there as we speak. For those who runs with a rooted device and wants the stock firmware, just tune-in as I will guide you with the manual update process.
