Southeast Asia owners of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 GT-P5100, your Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update is now live via Samsung Kies, the firmware build numbers are P5100XXDMD1 . This an update from previous software version 4.1.1 P5100XXCLL2. As of now it’s heading to the following SEA countries – Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Philippines. Singapore isn’t on the list yet, but it might also follow this couple of days.
The P5100XXDMD1 software update brings the 4.1.2 Jelly Bean stuff such as Google Now, new Notification panel, re-bumped widget and for system’s enhancements and improvements that also fixes lags and re-draws issues.

Again, this Android 4.1.2 update build P5100XXDMD1 is only available on Samsung Kies server for Southeast Asian owners of the carrier branded and unbranded Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 P5100. For advance users and has a rooted Galaxy Tab 2 p5100, you can grab the stock firmware from the below source and manually flash it using Odin. You will lose root when you install the official stock, but you can re-root again using the root method you used in 4.1.1 such as CF-Auto Root, SuperSU via CWM or any root method you used that I never known or heard about.
