The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 GT-I8160 is in line for a scoop of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade on 2013 but this is by no means a guarantee for now until the real update arrives. The Galaxy Ace 2 now receives a newer update in United Kingdom as Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread build I8160XXLK7, this is the same baseband build from other Europe regions earlier releases – I8160XXLK7. This device is more popular in UK’s soil just right after the Galaxy S3, Galaxy S2 and the Galaxy Ace S830. The British knows best when it comes to choosing a very handy Samsung slates, that is why when it comes to a more stabler firmware, I always keep an eye when Samsung release UK’s updates because Samsung can’t afford to disappoint their solid English fans.

When could be an Ice Cream Sandwich Release Date for Galaxy Ace 2?
There are no certain date when it could be release, but Sammyhub, shows a video clip of the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, watch out for the word “Android Gingerbread ICS upgradeable” and an Ice Cream Sandwich logo as shown on screen.
Again, it so good to be true but as I said, lets hope and wait until Samsung will officially announce it.
