The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100 international version now also starts receiving its official Android 4.1.2 Jelly bean software update. This is also made available to the Galaxy note 2 LTE GT-N7105, just happens a few days earlier. The 4.1.2 Jelly Bean brings some extra goodies like the “ink Effect” on lockscreen and a customizable “Notification Panel” are just few noticeable added features. This update is now initially available for Poland users of Galaxy Note 2 only, under Play Mobile network operator. All other countries and specific network providers may follow soon. The firmware build number is N7100XXDLK7 and has a build date as of November 26, 2012. So, watch out for it on Samsung Kies and or via OTA (over the air) notification.

For those advance user who want to give it a try now, you can grab the N7100XXDLK7 stock ROM. Although it’s a branded firmware since it for Poland Play default release but its a much worth to try out specially if you’ve previously installed the earlier leaked which is somehow buggy. This firmware brings smoother and much faster user-interface experience.

You can flash this stock ROM using Odin, you can also root it using the same method the way you root from 4.1.1.

Again, this is a branded stock ROM, all default Polish apps are also installed on it, but you can freeze it using Titanium apps. You you can also easily revert back to your own country\provider 4.1.2 stock ROM when its available sooner.
